Feb 13, 2010 - Levon Helm still performs it on occasion so I doubt Robertson has the rights to it. Read Levon's book and you'll gain a lot of insight into the history of the band, and what an absolute SOB Robertson turned into.

He is an amazing song writer, and they are possibly one of the best bands ever.... but he is a prick and took credit for everything because he legally could weasel his way into getting the rights to they're music. And he lip syncs this entire show.... levon is the only true part of the "Last Waltz"..... look at the tragically hip 100% of their royalties is split equally between the band....

Feb 23, 2010 - do not believe everything you hear..Levon is an amazing musician but has had conflicts with many other musicians through out not just robbie but had complaints about Dylan as well and neil, theres always two sides to a story. Robbie is a rock hero as well as levon garth richard and rick.

Mar 7, 2010 - AMEN! If not for Levon; Robbie would never have been in The Band to begin with. Long story; but Robbie came from Levon and the Hawks which came from Ronnie and the Hawks and actually Ronnie Hawkins hired all of them. Levon kept all of them together and worked hard for them to stay together. Then Robbie turns around and stabs ALL of them in the back. Robbie has no morals.

Mar 7, 2010 - And I meant to mention..There is a documentary opening next month about Levon. The name.."I Ain't In It For My Health". He is supposed to talk about many of the painful things he has never spoken of in the past. I know I read a postcript somewhere saying that he is still playing music today to keep Rick and Richard's memory alive. In his live shows he still does their songs to this day...now can you really tell me he is the bad guy mccally???
